Services
RK.architecture offers tailored planning and design services that combine professional expertise with cultural and spatial sensitivity. From statutory planning to heritage documentation and private development, each project is guided by a holistic, context-aware approach.
Urban Planning
Contemporary urban planning requires a balance between present-day needs and the unique social, cultural, and regulatory context of each locality.
My work focuses on developing new residential neighborhoods, as well as re-organizing existing areas that have lost their original planning framework – addressing demographic growth and community complexity on the ground.
This process involves in-depth analysis of the current conditions, understanding the population’s characteristics and local cultural fabric, and coordinating urban plans that integrate infrastructure, road networks, public buildings, and open spaces – all in line with statutory regulations and planning standards.
The goal is to create practical, context-sensitive, and community-oriented plans that respond to both immediate and long-term needs.
Heritage Documentation
Preserving built heritage means more than documenting physical structures – it’s about uncovering the layers of history, culture, and identity embedded within a place.
My work in this field includes comprehensive architectural documentation of historic, religious, and culturally significant buildings, combining precise architectural surveys, historical research, condition assessments, and strategic conservation recommendations.
Each project is approached with sensitivity to the building’s role within its urban and social context, as well as its ongoing relationship with the local community.
The documentation is prepared according to national standards and conservation guidelines, ensuring that each site’s unique value is both understood and preserved for future generations.
Project Coordination
My role goes beyond architectural design – I lead and manage the full planning process, from the initial concept through to statutory approval. This includes coordinating between all relevant parties: governmental bodies, municipal departments, and private clients.
Acting as both planner and project coordinator, I guide multidisciplinary teams, ensure alignment with statutory requirements, and oversee the preparation and submission of all planning documents. A core part of my work involves meaningful public participation – meeting one-on-one with landowners, understanding their needs, and integrating community perspectives into urban planning processes.
Through this approach, I aim to create planning solutions that are not only professionally sound, but socially grounded and contextually sensitive.
